👉Pros of SunQ Pass
- Cheaper than JR Rail pass
- No additional transporting cost, for example, when you like to travel through Beppu, you will need to pay for an additional bus fee to go around Beppu Hell tour or Beppu Sand bath.
- Cover more area especially rural Onsen town like Kurokawa Onsen, or Takachiho gorge
- Exchange the ticket at Fukuoka airport and start your journey! As most of the highway bus stops at the airport such as Bus to Yufuin, Beppu, Aso, Huis Ten Bosch, and etc.
👉Cons of SunQ Pass
- It might take longer time to reach the destination. Of course, the bus is not as fast as Shinkansen. However, if you could start your journey from the airport, it could save a lot of time as well.
- Traffic problems during Holidays cause delayed schedule.
- No Fancy Tourist bus. JR Kyushu is really famous for its tourist trains like Yufuin no Mori or Aso Boy! so you could enjoy the decoration while moving to the destinations.
- Bus stops in rural areas might have no English translation.
